Program Overview
E.P.I.C – Pain Management Program is an intensive 5 week pain management program. Participants will learn the principles of active self-management to assist them with both managing their pain and optimising their quality of life.
Our program is based on the latest clinical research and evidence-based techniques in chronic pain management. Our facilitators are a highly experienced team including our Medical Director Dr Aman Ahuja, who is supported by a team of highly experienced Allied Health clinicians.

Reduced Pain
Improved Sleep
Improved Confidence and strategies to self-manage pain
Reduced reliance on medication and other passive treatment strategies
Reduced fear of pain and movement
Increased functional capacity including walking, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, postural tolerances (sit, stand, drive)
Established participant orientated S.M.A.R.T. goals
Improved ability to cope with tasks of daily living – shopping, cooking, cleaning, gardening

The pain program is provided for defence and workcover patients at this stage. Any Department of Veteran Affairs/private/uninsured patients will be able to access an alternative pain program via a referral from our Pain Specialist.
The above program does change according to the group requirements and program development.
